Lake Chelan Lions - Our history

 In 1935, Lake Chelan Lions Club was founded by two Chelan businessmen, Jim Fourney and Dick Warden.

In 2023, 88 years later the Lake Chelan Lions Club has flourished. Now under the direction and guidance of  our current president, we continue to ensure that the mission of the Lions Club succeeds.

We are united around five areas of need, Diabetes, Vision, Hunger, Environment and Childhood Cancer. These causes present significant challenges to humanity, and we believe it’s our turn to meet them.  

In November of 2021 the decision was made to form The Lake Chelan Lions Club Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit whose sole purpose is to successfully meet the needs of the underserved of the Lake Chelan Valley.
